Linux support for Thinkpad docks?

I am considering refreshing my work machine (currently have a t460s with a Pro dock 40a1), but I'm worried about Linux support for the new usb-c and thunderbolt docks.

Which docks compatible with the new Thinkpads (t480 et al.) have best Linux support?
