Relatively low cost AV set for 8-person meeting room
I have a small business and we use video conferencing a lot. Our meeting room is approximately 17m2 large and we have a 8-person table in there.
Currently we put a laptop on one of the far ends of the room to arrange a view of the group for the other side of the call. Clearly this is suboptimal so we want to invest in a conferencing system. But we are price sensitive, and a Logitech Rally Bar is easily EUR 2.5k.
After some research I came down to the following options:
- Bose VB1
- Averr VB342 Pro
- Yealink A30
And I would like some help from the hive mind here to help us decide. We feel that we will likely turn off face tracking in any case (so basically use the system as a webcam), so how "good" that is isn't a factor. Mainly video and audio quality are important. As well as ease of use, compatibility with both Teams and Google Meet, and reliability.
Which of the above 3 options would you recommend, and/or is there another option we should consider?
